This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and guidelines for using the Flenly platform, website, and services (the "Service"). This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users.

Flenly is a creative video production platform designed for legitimate professional, educational, and personal use. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for all users.

Our Commitment

Flenly does not host, produce, or facilitate the creation of Not Safe for Work (NSFW) or adult content. Our platform is built for creators, marketers, educators, and professionals who want to produce high-quality animated videos using AI technology. We actively enforce this commitment through content moderation, automated screening, and manual review.

Prohibited Content

You may not use Flenly to create, generate, upload, store, distribute, or share any of the following:

Sexually Explicit & Adult Content (NSFW)

• Pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit material of any kind
• Sexual or suggestive content, including implied sexual acts
• Content depicting sexual violence, non-consensual acts, or exploitation
• Sexualized depictions of minors — zero tolerance, reported to authorities
• Escort services, adult dating, or sex work advertisements
• Fetish content or any material intended for sexual gratification

Violence & Harmful Content

• Graphic or gratuitous violence, gore, or depictions of severe injury or death
• Content glorifying or promoting violence against individuals or groups
• Instructions or encouragement for self-harm, suicide, or dangerous activities
• Content promoting eating disorders or other forms of self-destructive behavior
• Animal cruelty or abuse

Hate Speech & Harassment

• Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or prejudice based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or threats directed at any individual or group
• Doxxing (sharing private or identifying information without consent)
• Content designed to shame, humiliate, or degrade individuals

Terrorism & Extremism

• Content promoting, glorifying, or supporting terrorist organizations or acts
• Recruitment or radicalization material
• Glorification of mass violence or violent extremist ideologies

Deception & Fraud

• Deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive, manipulate, or defraud
• Impersonation of real individuals without their explicit consent
• Scams, phishing, or social engineering content
• Misleading content designed to manipulate public opinion or interfere with elections
• Fake news or deliberate misinformation presented as factual

Illegal Activities

• Content that facilitates or promotes illegal activities in any jurisdiction
• Drug manufacturing, trafficking, or promotion of illegal substances
• Weapons manufacturing or illegal arms dealing
• Money laundering, financial fraud, or tax evasion
• Hacking tools, malware, or content promoting cybercrime
• Gambling or lottery services where prohibited by law

Intellectual Property Violations

• Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
• Unauthorized use of branded material, logos, or proprietary content
• Counterfeit goods or services

Spam & Platform Abuse

• Automated or bulk content generation designed to abuse the platform
• Content created solely for SEO manipulation or spam distribution
• Attempts to circumvent content moderation, rate limits, or safety filters
• Reverse engineering, exploiting, or interfering with the Service infrastructure

Permitted Use

Flenly is designed for and encourages the following types of content:

• Marketing & advertising — Product demos, promotional videos, brand content
• Educational content — Tutorials, explainers, training materials, course content
• Entertainment — Short films, animated stories, creative projects, music videos
• Social media content — Videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Business communications — Presentations, internal communications, onboarding videos
• Personal projects — Creative expression, art, hobbyist content

How We Enforce This Policy

Automated Moderation

• All text prompts are screened by automated content moderation systems before being processed by AI models
• Prompts flagged as violating this policy are automatically rejected — no credits are deducted
• Our upstream AI model providers (including Google) apply additional safety filters during content generation

Manual Review

• We reserve the right to review any content generated on the platform
• We may proactively audit content when we have reason to believe this policy has been violated
• Users can report violations via [email protected]

Enforcement Actions

When we identify a violation of this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:

Severity	Action
Minor / First offense	Warning issued via email
Moderate / Repeat offense	Content removed + temporary account suspension
Serious violation	Immediate permanent account termination + forfeiture of credits
Criminal content	Permanent termination + reported to law enforcement

We reserve the right to bypass warnings and proceed directly to account termination for serious violations, particularly those involving sexual content involving minors, terrorism, or other criminal activity.

Appeals

If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged or your account was wrongly suspended, you may submit an appeal to [email protected]. Appeals will be reviewed within 14 business days. Our decision after review is final.

Your Responsibilities

By using Flenly, you agree to:

• Comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and our Terms of Service at all times
• Not attempt to circumvent content moderation or safety systems
• Report any violations you encounter to [email protected]
• Accept that automated moderation may occasionally flag legitimate content — in such cases, you may rephrase your prompt or contact support
• Understand that you are solely responsible for all content generated under your account

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
