Asset Library
Using Assets
How to use uploaded assets in your Flenly video projects
Using Assets
Once uploaded to your library, assets can be used throughout the video generation workflow.
Images
Uploaded images can be used as:
- Start images — Provide a visual starting point for image-to-video models (Wan 2.6 I2V, Hailuo 2.3 Fast). The AI animates the image into video.
- Character references — Attach to character profiles to help maintain consistent character appearance.
- Scene references — Use as visual context when writing prompts.
Audio Files
Audio files (MP3, WAV) can be used with:
- Wan 2.6 I2V — Sync generated video to your audio track.
- Wan 2.6 T2V — Generate text-to-video synced to uploaded audio.
This is useful for music videos, narrated content, or scenes that need specific sound.
Selecting Assets During Render
When configuring a scene render:
- Look for the Start Image or Audio fields in the render settings.
- Click to browse your library.
- Select the asset you want to use.
- The asset is passed to the AI model during generation.
Auto-Generated Assets
Flenly also creates assets automatically during the render process:
- Thumbnails — A preview image extracted from each rendered video.
- Last frames — The final frame of each scene, used for scene continuity.
These are stored alongside your renders and don't count against any limits.
