Style Presets
Style presets let you save a visual style configuration and apply it across multiple scenes or projects. Instead of retyping style descriptions in every prompt, you select a preset and it's applied automatically.
What's in a Style Preset
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A descriptive name (e.g., "Anime Cinematic", "Vintage Film") |
| Description | What the style looks like |
| Category | Anime, Realistic, Artistic, 3D, or Custom |
| Style Prompt | Text appended to your scene prompt describing the visual style |
| Negative Prompt | What to avoid (appended to your negative prompt) |
| Thumbnail | A preview image showing the style |
How It Works
When you apply a style preset to a scene, the preset's style prompt is automatically appended to your scene prompt before rendering. This ensures the AI model applies the same visual treatment to every scene using that preset.
For example, if your style preset has:
cinematic lighting, anamorphic lens flare, film grain, warm color grading, shallow depth of field
And your scene prompt is:
A woman walking through a rainy street at night
The AI receives the combined prompt for a consistent cinematic look.
Using Style Presets
- Go to Style Presets from the sidebar.
- Browse existing presets or create a new one.
- In the project editor, select a style preset for your scene in the configuration panel.
Global vs. Personal Presets
- Global presets — Pre-made presets available to all users, curated by the Flenly team.
- Personal presets — Presets you create for your own use.
Creating a Style Preset
- Go to Style Presets and click New Preset.
- Choose a category.
- Write a style prompt that describes the visual look you want.
- Optionally add a negative prompt and parameters.
- Save and apply it to any scene.
Tips
- Combine with characters — Use a style preset for the visual look and a character profile for consistent character appearance.
- Test on a short clip first — Apply the preset to a 4-5 second test render before committing to a full project.
- Be specific — Vague style prompts like "cool style" won't produce consistent results. Describe lighting, color palette, camera style, and texture.
