How to create and configure a new video project in Flenly
Creating a Project
Start a New Project
- From your dashboard, click New Project.
- Enter a project name.
- Optionally add a description to help you remember what this project is about.
You'll be taken directly to the project editor where you can start adding scenes.
Project Settings
Each project has configurable settings that apply as defaults to all scenes:

| FPS | 24 | Frames per second for the final video output |
| Duration | 5 seconds | Default scene duration (can be overridden per scene) |
You can change these settings at any time from within the project editor.
Project Dashboard
Your projects page shows all your projects with:
- Thumbnail preview — Auto-generated from the first completed scene
- Scene count — How many scenes are in the project
- Total duration — Combined length of all rendered scenes
- Last edited — When you last made changes
Projects auto-save as you work, with changes synced every 2 seconds.
Organizing Projects
You can create as many projects as you want — there's no limit on any plan. Use descriptive names to keep things organized, especially if you're working on multiple videos at once.
